- 11-17-2010: McDry dry cabinet with heating
McDry dry cabinets are now available also with heating. Within a range of 40 °C to 45 °C, devices can be baked conforming to IPC-J-STD 033B standard. Two types with 1200L volume and 300 L volume are available. It is also possible to upgrade standard dry cabinets already under operation.
- 09-30-2010: Transervo Rod Type
The Transervo-Series of the Yamaha Industrial Robots has been expanded by new rod type models. They are replacing the former YMS types. Performance increased and nevertheless the price became even more attractive than before. The proven Transervo technology (stepping motor with resolver) helps to perform a number of ambitious applications (feeding/conveying, width determination/gap closing) An operation in harsh environments is possible as the rod types are resistant against oil, dust and dirt. The powerful software has many useful functions like monitoring and simulation and guarantees an easy handling.
- 09-30-2010: Yamaha Phaser MF7/MF75
With the new types Yamaha MF7 and MF75, the range of linear axis is extended with a small and a large type. The product range of Yamaha Industrial Robots has been extended by two new powerful types. Payloads of 10 kg (MF7) up to 160 kg (MF75) and strokes up to 4000mm can cover a wide range of demands. With superior speed and repeatability both types integrate smoothly in the current MF-Series.
- 10-20-2009: Yamaha: New linear axis
Yamaha Industrial Robots extended the range of linear axis. The type F8 marks the new entry into the F-Series which combines high rigidity with outstanding speeds and high payloads.
Clean room version (C8)is available and also types for higher speeds and longer strokes (F8LH, C8LH).
- 08-14-2009: Yamaha Transervo
With the Transervo series Yamaha Industrial Robots releases a new kind of linear axis. Instead of a complex controller, it is equipped only with a driver unit which helps to reduce the cost by app. 20%.
Transervo uses stepping motor with resolver. By this, the advantages of stepping motor (cheap, vibration-free stop) and servo motor (precise, high speed, high payload) are combined into one axis, which makes Transervo interesting for many different applications. Handling is easy and design is compact, so automation can become even more efficient from now!

- 02-06-2009: Modernized tiny SCARA robots
Yamaha Industrial Robots modernized the tiny SCARA robots from 120mm to 180mm range. The actuation is now beltless. By this, Yamaha strengthened its role as pioneer in the field of small SCARA robots. Beltless actuation means higher speed and higher precision. A the same time, reliability increased and the maintenance work could reduced. The package is completed by the new powerful controller RCX240 which enables reduced cycle times and a number of new functions. For instance, integrated vision and tracking systems are possible
With this new concept, compact systems for compact prices can be realized!
- 04-01-2008: Vision system for Yamaha robots
Yamaha industrial robots can now be equipped with vision system. Conveyor tracking is also possible. The outstanding feature
of this system is the fact that it is directly integrated into the controller which means high-speed communication, easiness of use, high reliability and cost efficiency. Scara robots as well as cartesian robots can be equipped with this system.
- 10-04-2007: Yamaha expands new Scara XG-Series
The XG series of the Yamaha-SCARA-Robots has been expanded from 70 to 100 cm. The new types are available from now. A higher precision combined with increased speed are the outstanding features of these Scara robots.
- 09-10-2007: Yamaha releases new NXYx-Series
The new NXYx-Series from Yamaha Industrial Robots is available from now. It uses the new technology with the motor integrated into the slider. With this cartesian robot it is possible higher speeds and more accuracy at long stroke. Multi-slider axis is also possible.
