The JANOME Electro Press JP Series 4 is an AC servomotor-powered press machine that ensures a quiet and clean work environment. It uses approximately 80 - 90% less energy than competing hydraulic and pneumatic press machines, ensuring lower running costs and environmentally-sound manufacturing. To ensure safe use, every Electro Press is equipped with an area sensor terminal and a fail-safe circuit so that it can be stopped immediately and safely in case of machine malfunction or accidents. (e.g. If the operator's hand enters the machine's restricted area.)

Clean room type models, equipped with a special airtight mechanism and special external conductive metal coating, are also available. All the external plates and screws are made of stainless steel. A special antistatic bellows is used for the sliding parts, and special dust-proof grease is used for inside of the bellows to minimalize dust. These special specifications conform to clean room Class 10 (0.3µm.) The clean room type model can also be used in a non-clean room work environment.

High accuracy (repeatability: plus or minus 0.005mm) and high performance are ensured with an AC servomotor, high precision ball screw and high accuracy load cell.

Select from a variety of pressing modes and create a 2-Section pressing mode, such as "Constant Speed·Set Stop Position", "Constant Speed·Set Stop Load, and "Constant Speed·Set Dist. Mode", for easy special processing operations. The Electro Press JP Series 4 controls positions precisely, so there is no need to make and adjust die and jig fixtures when setting up new operations and production lines, furthermore, the risk of damage to the die is reduced, high productivity is ensured.

The Electro Press JP 4 Series features a variety of sensor functions, including "Sensor Load", "Sensor Position", "Sensor Distance", and "Sampling Load" (e.g. Peak, Bottom, and Differential), for high quality control. The RS-232C comes as standard equipment with the Electro Press JP 4 Series as an external interface for obtaining and saving pressure curves and operation results onto PC. Now high traceability is ensured.

The large and clear view LCD screen and interactive switch panel ensure easy operation. You can easily change the displayed language between Japanese, German, Italian, and Spanish. You can also display the coordinate values in millimeters or inches.
